Dawn Longchamp Cutler, is the main protagonist in the Lifetime mini series, Dawn; as well, as the mother of Jefferson and Christie Longchamp. Much of Dawn's story is true to the same story events as her counterpart's from the novels and she is present in all four episodes of the miniseries.
Dawn celebrates her daughter's 16th birthday and tries to tell her about their dark family history which she believes is a curse, However Christie doesn't want to hear about it asking her mother to tell her later. Unfortunately Dawn never gets a chance since she's killed in a explosive comforting her dying husband after Phillip attacked him never getting over his obsessive behavior towards Dawn.
